We are Fluorescent Forest, an ambient post-rock project hailing from Kerala, India. We wanted to share our debut album, In Absence of Sky, with this community.
Our sound is built on a unique blend—merging traditional, atmospheric post-rock soundscapes with deep, organic Indian spatial textures and ambient influences to bring a distinct regional taste to the genre. We originally rolled out the album track-by-track over time, letting each piece breathe on its own before finally uniting them into one continuous sonic journey:
