Mahdi Hi Mahdi. You might find that lesser known bands would appreciate the ability to add upcoming releases to their pages via the Manage Bands section. I can't speak for everybody, but I certainly know that we (Dogs In Exile) don't carry enough weight with Spotify for our upcoming releases to be displayed on there, so there's no option for people to pre-save etc.
Basically, even though a release could be on Spotify's servers for weeks in advance, it won't appear at all publicly until the day of release. Synchronisation from here would never know it exists before it's out.
If a band could add something manually on here though, I'm not sure how you'd get around it still being displayed as upcoming once it has been released and synchronisation has caught the released version.
